A bathroom refit is one of the few jobs where the difference between a careful contractor and a careless one is invisible on day one and obvious on day 500. Bad waterproofing only shows up after the second monsoon. A poorly-aligned floor fall only matters when the drain stops keeping up. Our makeover process is built around the parts that nobody photographs.

What's included

Timeline you can actually rely on

A standard 30 to 45 square-foot apartment bathroom takes 14 to 18 working days from demolition to handover. A larger master ensuite with custom joinery runs 21 to 28 days. We give you a written timeline before deposit, and we update you daily on WhatsApp with photos — not because we love taking photos, but because that's the only way you keep visibility into a job that mostly happens behind a closed door.

Waterproofing — the part that matters

The single most expensive mistake in a bathroom refit is skimping on the membrane. We use a two-coat polyurethane-modified liquid membrane on the floor and to a 1.8 m height on the wet wall, with a fabric reinforcement at every floor-to-wall corner. After application we flood-test the floor with 50 mm of standing water for 24 hours before tiling begins. If the membrane fails the test, it gets re-coated — at our cost, not yours.

Tile selection

We will go to the showroom with you if it helps. The two tile factors that matter most in a tropical bathroom are surface friction (avoid anything slicker than R10 on the floor) and water absorption rate (porcelain over ceramic for wet zones). Within those constraints, pick whatever you love.

What our quote includes by default

Demolition, removal of debris, all wet-trade labour, all standard plumbing fittings, basic LED lighting and a mid-range fixtures package. What it does not include by default: structural changes to the slab, replacement of the soil stack outside the bathroom, premium imported fixtures, and the lift-bookings for buildings with strict elevator schedules. Each of those is quoted line-by-line so you can decide what to include.

Warranty

24 months on structural tiling and waterproofing, 12 months on plumbing workmanship, and the manufacturer warranty on every fixture. We retain a copy of every invoice and warranty card so future technicians have a complete history if anything needs attention.
