Drain & Sewer Clearing

High-pressure water jetting and camera-assisted unblocking for kitchen, bath and main sewer lines — same-day across the Klang Valley.

Technician operating a high-pressure water jetter on an outdoor drain

Blocked drains are almost never solved by pouring more chemicals down them. Caustic drain cleaners eat the pipe before they eat the blockage, and they do nothing about the root cause. Our approach is mechanical: locate the blockage, clear it physically, verify with a camera, and tell you what caused it so you can avoid the same call next quarter.

What our drain clearing covers

  • Kitchen sink and pantry lines blocked by fat, soap or food debris
  • Bathroom basin, shower and bath traps backed up with hair and product
  • Toilet pan flushes that surge then back-fill
  • Outdoor gully traps overflowing in heavy rain
  • Main sewer connection blockages between the house and the manhole
  • Recurrent slow-draining lines that have not been jetted in years

How we clear a blocked line

Most household blockages are handled with a high-pressure water jetter — 150 to 200 bar at the nozzle, with a forward-rotating head that breaks the blockage and pulls itself further down the line. For very narrow bathroom lines we use a hand-fed cable rooter, which is gentler on older brass and lead trap arms. For main sewer lines we use a larger truck-fed rig.

Wherever the blockage was, we follow up with a quick CCTV camera pass. The camera does two jobs: it confirms the line is genuinely clear (not just clear enough for water to start moving again), and it shows whether there is a structural issue further down — a fractured collar, a bellied section, root ingress — that will bring you the same problem again in three months.

What you get on the invoice

  • Diagnostic of the affected line, including flow test
  • Mechanical clearing using jetter, rooter or both as appropriate
  • A short CCTV inspection of the cleared section
  • A written summary of what the blockage was and what caused it
  • Recommendations on what to change (grease trap top-up, hair filter, etc.)
  • Bagged debris removal and surface clean-down
  • 6-month warranty against return blockage of the same line for the same cause

Fixed prices, not surprise meters

We work to a fixed-price tariff for residential blockages. The price band is determined by the line type and the access — kitchen, bathroom, outdoor gully or main sewer — and is quoted before we start. There is no "per-metre" charge running in the background while we work.

When jetting won't fix it

Sometimes the camera shows a problem that no amount of cleaning will solve: a collapsed PVC collar, a major root intrusion, a sag that holds standing water. In those cases, jetting is a temporary relief and the right answer is a repair to the line itself. We will be straight with you about it, show you the camera footage, and quote the repair separately rather than dressing it up as another clearing visit.

Avoiding the next call

For kitchen lines: a basic mesh strainer over the sink trap and a quarterly hot-water flush keeps grease moving. For bathrooms: a £3 silicone hair trap will outperform any drain chemical on the market. For outdoor gullies before the monsoon: lift the cover and clear it by hand — see our seasonal checklist for the full walk-through.
